This program is housed in the Molalla High School building and has a large, self contained classroom. This program offers students a standard Oregon diploma through a combination of direct instruction of integrated curriculum and independent work. Students are able to earn more credit than the average student through their own dedication and persistence. In our small environment, students receive one-on-one academic support and mentoring with our staff. We provide two sessions, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. Referrals are done through the school districts.
Students also have the opportunity to be involved in exciting projects such as participating in scientific inquiry, and hands-on activities located off-campus. In this manner students not only have the opportunity to quickly retrieve credit, but have the opportunity to use their creative skills to become involved in outside, off-campus activities that greatly enhance their learning. Some community partners that we have worked with over the years have included Hopkins Demonstration Forest, Wolftree, and Oregon State University’s GROW Healthy Kids program.
